Question one piece side/door windows for 73-87????

What's up guys newbie here....Just wondering who has seen one piece door glass installed in these trucks? I thought Truckin Mag did a tech article on this but I'm not having any luck finding anything? I've got a 74 I'd like to do it to and want to know how. Thanks.

This has got to be the most discussed subject ever about our trucks. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'll believe it when I see it.

Yes I do. So, where's the update? I still don't see any working models yet. So, as I said, I'll believe it when I see it.

Im with you guys on this one. I was going to work with a local glass guy to try this. A man could make a large amount of cash if he could perfect this. The glass guy skipped out on me and the rest is history. It can be done I beleive, but large companies that could back it dont see a need for these trucks.

I find it hard to beleive. If you have this going at all, a few none close up pics would be good. You dont even have to give away any TOP SECRET info. JUST the pics man.

Re: one piece side/door windows for 73-87????

First off let's welcome 74Chevy74 to the forum. As you can tell this subject has been covered many times on here, but since you new here you wouldn't know that.

While it seems like a simple thing to do, putting one piece glass in 73-87 trucks is no easy task. NO ONE makes a kit for them yet. It may happen someday, but right now it does not exist. There a lot of problems trying to make a glass for our trucks, and so far no one has been able to get the glass made that works.

When it happens, EVERYONE will know....
