brian, you need the url only, if you look your url has "&feature=youtu.be" at the end. that stuff shows up arbitrarily it seems. you have to delete the s and delete that extra part, the ampersand and anything after it, as well.

Re: Rear engine truck

I know I'm guilty of resurrecting a zombie thread,
but, I just gotta say,
these are all so cool.

Re: Rear engine truck

Haven’t seen an AD but uncles friend had a beetle with toronado setup in the back. Did something to reverse the transmission because it was backwards from how it normally would sit, had tailpipes sticking out under the front bumper.. Went through many front ends on it as he would get skitterish doing a wheelie and slam the brakes, slamming the front into the ground. I wasn’t allowed to ride..

Re: Rear engine truck

Old thread but a fun one. Fourspeed Wagon probably remembers Gene Jorden's 40? (depended on what grill he ran) Ford flatbed cab over with the tilt flatbed that had a big block Ford under the bed with what looked like a wooden crate on the bed to clear the engine. He drove that truck all over the country for a number of years and my daughter wants a hoist on the 51 4100 we have saved back for her Because she always liked Gene's truck when she was a kid. I've got photos of it in a box of photos or event album somewhere if I ever find them.

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Re: Rear engine truck

car craft showcased a rear/mid engine chevy vega hatchback back in the late 70's early 80's. caddie transaxle I believe. rad was up front, front suspension and spindles reworked as well. I think it was a daily driver according to the write up. a grocery getter.
