"Tugboat" This thing is cool

Thought that I'd share...
https://www.rodauthority.com/feature...-of-fresh-air/

This reminds me a lot of "Big Bertha"

Kind of sheds some light on what can be done if you have just a cab and the time.

Maybe it's just me nit picking, but why spend all of the time and money and not have the wheels match?

That's a classic gasser wheel combo, inspired by the old spindle mount halibrand wheels.

Re: "Tugboat" This thing is cool

started with same cab as bertha, but that's where the similarities end
bertha is a workhorse; very cool, very custom, purpose built workhorse

tug boat is just cool
i don't think this ogre would fit in the passenger side of this cab, much less be able to drive it
lot of freaking work and custom features, suicide doors alone are beyond my skill level

Re: "Tugboat" This thing is cool

I have to respect the work and time in this truck. Looking under hood and at the interior I can see a consistent look or theme. And I'm in love with the bed! I feel like a "fat fender" in the back using the same lines as the front would provide a better sense of balance (kind of like bell-bottoms and flared sleeves) but without the skills to build something similar I'm nothing but a two-bit critic.

Welllll….I dunno - not my cup of tea! The guy put in a LOT of work, and has a beautiful truck, and does GREAT work but, between the two - Bertha is by FAR my choice!
I think what ruins it for me is the front end on the ground.....

But hey - to each his own! I don't have to like it for it to be beautiful!
