1954 3600 Frankinsten project

Hi, guys I just picked up a 1954 3600 chevy truck now I'm kind of worried tell you guys about it because how you might judge me for what I want to do.
Before I start purest the frame has been messed up so that's not an option.
I picked up a 1954 3600 chevy truck just the cab and front end but no bed so I'm going to put it on a rolling chassis from a 1999 c2500 with a Vortec 5.7 and a 4l80e tranny.
I have a bed from a 1960's I think that look close so I'm going to use that.
I just finished building a lifting rig to lift the cab off the frame and to pull off the bed. I plan to build this truck as my long-range tow truck if I need to take my boat out or haul the 25ft trailer to get another truck now I plan to build this from my parts trucks I have 2 parts truck so many parts but they are 1995s.
This will be a hoge podge I know many of you will try to talk me out of it on my 1972 chevy I took your advice but that truck makes sense to leave it alone it's a working truck the 54 is not a working truck so I feel ok with it I plan to take the cab off this week and start modding it to fit the 1999 frame.
I want to be clear this will be a mess and i'm ok with that.

I doubt you'll get much judgement on this forum. On that other forum they'd already have flamed you.

I've seen lots of really cool chassis swaps. These trucks are still so plentiful that I doubt many will criticize any level of modifications, or even downright butchery.

But ya gotta post pictures of your evil deeds, okay?

Start a build thread in the Builds section. I'm looking forward to seeing how you do this. I'm putting a '47 panel on an '88 K2500.
