Cutting high back buckets

Hello,

Has anyone cut down high back buckets to make them low back buckets?

There’s a thread on here some where. High backs to low backs? A guy near Sacramento buys the 77 up highbacks cut off the bar extensions and recovers in 71-72 covers with old style mounts and makes some jack

I cut up some bench seats and got that look I give it a B- on the comfort. I posted it.
