6 speed auto's, and controller's
Last night I watched Hotrod garage, and they put a 6L80 behind a 454 BBC. Then went out, and bent push rods in the engine.
Has anyone done a 6 speed in a carb'd vehicle? If so how did you like it compared to a typical 4L65. I love what the 6 speed does in my heavy 2018 Silverado crew cab with the V6, and it is making me reconsider my tunnel ram fantasies. Since I can build a normal hot street engine, and use the 6 speed to get the effective deep gearing I like. Along with easy highway cruising with the long legs the OD provides. |
