I'd like to see one done using two 4drs cut and attached at between the doors... middle to middle. Would look better and you could open it up at both ends for hauling longer cargo of need be. Would be make a better camper, too

I was working in a body shop back in '84 or so, the owner had just built one like that out of a couple of 'Burbs. It was for some guy who did construction subcontracting (flooring?), set up to be loaded at one end, unloaded at the other.

Can't say as I'd want one, but since he had managed to wreck 2 Suburbans and had the "materials", I guess it made sense for the customer.
