The AD guys can correct me, but it looks like there are three AD's in the middle photo. The shop truck with the push bumper is obvious. There's a panel van parked by the service door. But then it looks like some kind of Suburban / panel with a single rear door is hooked to the back of the shop truck.

I'm guessing 65 although the newest vehicles I see are '64. It's Credited as Chevrolet plant Muncie, IN South Parking Lot. The lot is paved in that photo but partially dirt in the photo below, so if there happens to be an old Muncie employee hanging around the forum we might get a better idea.

Not a vintage pic but worth an honorable mention for surviving the beach salt all these decades. Believe it is all original , six cylinder and driven by a guy who may have bought it new and may be in same shape. Tried to ask about it but got the messages quick. Pics too big to use forum pic posters,

he's using a huge mill to boot

He's making the male side (the "punch" side) of a die for stamping the sheetmetal panel. Somewhere there's a "female" counterpart going through the same process.

They are usually machined a few thousands of an inch shy and then skilled tradesman ("die makers") will provide the final fitment between the male side and the female side, spotting them in with a handheld die grinder.
