under hood storage box in a 89 c1500
i know these are a hard to find and couple year only deal. I have a couple of these I got from the pick and pull and thought I would put one in my 89. i had to do some drilling , twisting and even some massaging with a hammer and dolly to the wheel well ,yet I think it came out ok . i'll prob never have anything it , yet just for looks

I have one in my '99 Tahoe, originally it was missing. Picked one up from the local Parts Reclamation Distribution Center which were formally known as salvage yards.
Like it so well I added one to my restored '71 4x4 long bed. Will try and get some pics up tomorrow. Also took a bit of massaging and metal twisting and bending but it fits and is very useful. Keep a qt. of oil, oil rag and spare fan belt in it. BIL seen it, liked it and is looking for one for his '83 1 ton, 4x4, 454, 4 speed, dually.
