Named my truck!Ordered my new license plate today!

Well, I named my truck today. A1 Super is what I came up with. The new license plate will be A1SUPER . Here is the final draft from The Department of Motor Vehicles- DMV. I ordered it today and should be here in a few weeks. I just closed the deal on my new truck purchase and wanted to give it a name.
I am hoping everybody that has given their trucks a name will also post it up and let us all have some fun hearing them!

Re: Named my truck!Ordered my new license plate today!

Here is my new truck that now will be called A1 Super.
It is a fully loaded Cheyenne Super Custom Camper 4x4 K20! This may very well be my last classic so I may take it to the next level or just enjoy this 45 year old piece of iron time machine for a while. Moonshot lucky to have found the ultimate elusive pinnacle of the 1972 Chevrolet 4x4 YE9 Z81.

Please post your trucks that have names , I think it will be fun to add them here.

Sharp Truck!
My new truck is nameless. I wanted to name it Annie but my wife said no. It broke down yesterday (My be "major") and my wifes mad at me so I'm contemplating the name Drama.
I did get a plate!

Re: Named my truck!Ordered my new license plate today!

That's a good one, fits you and the truck

Super-K is what I called my '72 K/20 Cheyenne Super Custom Camper. That's the only truck I've ever named and only because it was the holy grail for me. Never lettered it anywhere or bought a vanity plate, though. I registered here as Super-K at first, but when I got hi-speed internet and new e-mail addy I changed it to Special-K because that was the logo I had in mind and by then I had two other specially outfitted 72 3/4t 4wds...a K/20 Highlander Custom Camper and the K2500 Sierra Custom Camper I still have.

I did order a vanity plate for my 1990 Harley Heritage Softail. The customizing I did was to go further with their theme of a nostalgic Harley. Since heritage is about the past, I named it PAST90. It has multiple meaning. I went from 80" engine past 90 to 96", it's fast so a lot of bikes get passed by a '90, and it got past 90 before you new it. The first tag split and fell off, as a good half dozen have, then I ordered another. But before I installed it that spring Maryland finally dumped their big old tag and came out with the more sensible sided one that most states have. I still have the PAST90 tag unopened as a momento and the new tag isn't custom. Now that, it's antique I have another idea.

I have Y.O.M. plates for my '67 and '72. I'll have to find a picture

Thumbs up Re: Named my truck!Ordered my new license plate today!

I have never named a vehicle. Never seen the point in it but that's just me.

Here is my tag on the 71 though! It's a old tag but it's what I run.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I named my '68 shop truck the "ROTROD", 'cause it's my rusty, rotten hot rod.
