brake booster mounting

I am wanting to FLUSH mount a 7 or 8 inch dual booster in my 71, on the firewall. Has anyone had experience doing this? Can you share what is involved? Can it be done by a novice mechanic?
Thanks for any help.

Disc-Drum for now Disc-Disc maybe latter.

Re: brake booster mounting

Captainfab used to offer a brake booster adapter.

PM him to see if he still offers them.

Re: brake booster mounting

Thanks again for your replies. Looks like something I can do. Was not sure what to do with the brake rod, seems pretty straight forward. Will go to the shop this afternoon and start tearing things apart.
