Car (garage) dollys

Anybody have there truck on the garage dollies ? If so likes / dislikes ?
I am considering these: http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...10101/TID-0820

I've seen them cheaper but can't recall where and it don't matter if cheaper means crappier "you can pay me now or you can pay me latter"

Re: Car (garage) dollys

I have Several Set's of Them &Find that they are Qite Easy to use as long as you keep your Floor's Clean. I'm able to Manuever a Vehicle around the Shop Quite easily using them. I Got the one's i have from Tractor Supply, If you Have one in your Area you might want to check them out.............

Well worth the Money

Re: Car (garage) dollys

check local places first and save on shipping //like he said they work very good but the texture and debris on floors also seams between slabs of concrete are a big factor when it comes to move them with ease

I got a set at Harbor Freight. They carry two sets though. I got the heavier ones as the others looked very flimsy

Re: Car (garage) dollys

I have a set of these from Harbor Freight.

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=93368

They are not bad, but with the full bodied truck on them now it is sometimes a bit awkward to move them by myself, but my floor is not always the cleanest. It's only a pain so to speak when you have to change directions. Until the wheels realign it's tight.

I must say until I got all the body on and engine in they were great.

Re: Car (garage) dollys

I have a smooth floor and the set I have still require 2+ people to move the vehicle around. Thay are OK but still a lot ow work. Great foe putting a vehicle in a hole.

Re: Car (garage) dollys

Try these ones out. A bit spendy, but if you buy them I'll borrow them!
