524 red-orange/hugger, DuPont code?

My paint guy really prefers DuPont paints, but the common paint reference sites do not seem to list a DuPont code for 524 red-orange. I see ppg, Sherwin Williams, GM, Chrysler, etc. codes, but the DuPont line is empty. Do they not have this in their system? It seems to be the only one without a DuPont code listed too, which is just my luck. Obviously custom mixes are available, but would prefer an accepted/known standard mix. Any suggestions?

That’s a bummer it must’ve been the shop itself everything I have done has been single stage and have never had any issues PPG

Re: 524 red-orange/hugger, DuPont code?

Thanks for the messages, but my question wasn’t intended to ask what other brands there are for options. I know the SW and PPG codes. The question was Meant to be whether DuPont has a code for 524 red-orange (Sorry for the confusion), or if it’d have to be a custom mix. Also, my paint guy isn’t near Athens.

Re: 524 red-orange/hugger, DuPont code?

Sorry...
I'd say contact Dupont and ask...beyond that I guess custom mix...are you trying to match existing paint? Or a complete paint job?
Heres sorta a discussion I found...http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php?p=4854464
No real answer in it though..

Re: 524 red-orange/hugger, DuPont code?

NP. Spent way to much time looking at paint due to my new paint. After all the mistakes and research I ended up going with a newer paint.
