yeah i just made that pic in MS Paint.. but not hard to do, just mount it behind the openings

Is it pretty common to remove that outer trim?

Or am I seeing things? In a couple of those pics it looks like the outer trim has been removed.

I'd like to remove mine if for nothing else so I won't have to bother trying to get it all to line up @ the corners.

A lot of the 67-68 trucks came factory with out the trim. You can remove it and weld up the holes.

the same way you do with all there grills, it comes with a t bar that goes down under the bumper.. and you push up
