Spark plug wire routing

I am about to route my spark plug wires and I am thinking I will route the using the original mounting locations from the block. However I have long tube headers. Should I route them once the header primary tubes? I am going to get some of the plug wire heat sheathing to put over the wires. Any thoughts or ideas? Pictures of how you routed? I'm trying to keep my wiring as clean linking as possible. Thanks!

I am not really worried about cost. How does that system work on the truck? I would like to see some pictures of this system installed on the engine if possible. Thanks!

I assume these bolt up under the lower valve cover bolts. I have billet specialties tall valve covers. I wonder if they will work with those.

Re: Spark plug wire routing

I run my wires in the stock location ,I allso run headers (Hedman) and no heat tape on anything. I got the cut to fit MSD wires so fitment was great not some generic POS wires . and they weren't but a few dollars more .

I don't see any reason the tall valve covers would cause a problem.

There are some nice sets of billet aluminum available.
I like the style I sent in the picture.
They give more room for adjustment.
The truck I had these on is gone.
Here is a picture from the web real close to how mine looked.

Re: Spark plug wire routing

With this type of loom, I never had a burnt spark plug wire again.

You can place them to where they will not touch.

I went ahead and ordered the kit. Should have them in a couple of days since the summit store it a hour away. Thanks for the tip! Can't wait to see how these look on the truck.
