That cap is correct for the square body as well. But I'm glad he's selling it. I'd buy that one, too.

Yeah I don't understand the 'not correct for the era' comment by the seller either. It's absolutely correct for an early square. Meanwhile, he probably inadvertently discouraged about half of his potential buyers that own squares that may not know enough to know that he's incorrect..

Here is an old Topper I got for free, painted it same color as truck, and also painted the smoke windows white. Put it on to keep the bed dry from rain, this is my summer truck so it's parked high and during winters.

That truck is a beauty! Cheyenne trim?

I sent an email to the guy and said if he didn't sell it, I would buy it this summer. With work that is the only time I have to come grab it, or have a buddy get it for me. It'd look great on my 72 shortbox 4x4 that will get repainted back to its original dark olive green and white deluxe two tone.

Yes it would look good. looking a again I'm taking notice of the solid sides with single cat eye window and snazzy two-tone division. Truly custom ordered to suit, I'd think.

That K/10 was a '71 Custom Deluxe 350/4spd, posi, a/c, tach, black interior with Sidewinder winch. That is exactly how I bought it.

Here’s my 1969 GMC 1500 sporting it’s period correct topper. TAR-HEEL is the manufacture. It is aluminum over a wood frame, wood paneled interior, 110v hook-up for the interior lights, two cabinets at the top of the front, crank open windows and vent. Cool clearance and marker lights that come on with the truck headlights. I really like the vintage tourist stickers including the Southern 500 25th Anniversary race!
