Short bed / brothers kit question

I am middle of short bed conversion and today I did cut the frame with brothers kit. Everything is going smooth. Based on instructions, rear cab mount and front / first bed mount brackets needs to removed and cab mount relocated with the template. But is there a place for the bed mounts brackets or are not needed anymore?

Front bed mounts No longer needed.

Be aware that at one time the measurements for the Brothers rear cab mount templates were wrong. It may have been corrected, I don't know, but I would check it close before drilling or welding....

The cutting wasn't a problem, just the rear cab mount location.

Re: Short bed / brothers kit question

I used the Long Shot Fab shortening kit and the rear cab mount holes were in fact 1/2" off as well. That was back in 2020 though and it sounds like they fixed it.

Just be sure the rear cab mount holes move exactly 12" from the existing holes. The center of the front cab mount hole and the center of the rear cab mount hole should be 41.75".
