Right tool
I need to know if this is the right tool for taking the wires out of these connector. Yes I know paper clips and such work but if I can get the right tool I'd rather do it.

Re: Right tool
I've got a set of those and they are pretty handy little fellas to have especially for a guy with fat fingers like me. Can't remember where I got them but glad I did.

Re: Right tool
Well I ordered the set for $11.00 off amazon so hopefully I will be able to fix these dang mirror plugs. some of the mirrors want work because the two temperature probe wires are not in the right spots.

Re: Right tool
How do you pick what key/tool is the right one for a style connector?

Is that the white part in my picture? I have been wondering about it and if it was some kind of locking device. The tools are suppose to be here today. I hope anyway may have update later on tonight if they do.

Re: Right tool
That's funny, I bought one of the "special Tools" for connectors years ago. I keep forgetting it's in the tool box and use picks or small screw drivers. Works.

Re: Right tool
Well I have figured out the safety lock on the connectors. Now just waiting on the tools so I can fix the ones that are pined wrong.
I don't understand why they are all different though but the same mirrors just in different cars.

Re: Right tool
Well I got 2 of the 3 connectors done. I can't get the last connector to let go of the wires to move them. I tried everything I know without ripping the connector a part! Oh well I got 2 of them done.
