Door time. I replace hinge pins. Test fit Passenger door. With the primer door it reminded me of a movie “Every which way but Loose” hahaha. I removed the yellow door and painted inside of door.

Then I painted the exterior door Bermuda Green metallic it’s a 1954 chevy car color. I had some paint left over from a previous project. I did no body work to door. Just a scuff and shoot with rattle cans. I included the paint can pic of the interior paint.

I did the same thing to drivers door. Painted interior same silver spray can after I replaced the bingo pins.

Tune up Time. Pertronix , coil, wires, plugs, rotor and cap...STARTS RIGHT UP!!!!
This has been the fast story version. This project was finished up in September 2020.

Actually worked on the 57 yesterday, I wired up the brake lights. Insured the truck! IT IS TEADY TO WORK!!!!!

New Clutch Psi plate, throw out bearing, pilot bearing. Rear diff seal, u joints, rear diff and trans fresh fluid.

Also check about on trans for wear where the release brg rides. Check release fork and ball stud for wear in area that contacts release brg and ball stud. Check all linkages and pedal pivots for wear. Check pedal pad and rubber bumper on pedal arm for integrity.

Yes I did clean, inspect, grease all the linkages. I welded up the clutch linkage and hand filed it. Amazing what some maintenance does for the truck. Shifts are smoother and gears have a more distinct feeling on the shifter!!

Test drive after the Clutch and u joints, What a difference! truck is way smoother! The seat is getting dropped off tues for upholstery will take good interior pics after its installed. Then it will be For Sale time!!!
