Re: Taking a break

I hope all is going well with Leon's recovery. But you know meanwhile, he did say it was ok if we talked about him while away. Gets a guy to thinking...

Nope. Nothing. Just can't come up with anything I couldn't say with him here.

Re: Taking a break

Hoping for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery for you Leon. Be sure you keep up on the physical therapy after. That's a very important part of a good recovery. Best wishes your way.

Thanks for all the good karma and prayers guys, Looks like it worked. Everything went well and I feel good so far. Swelling has gone down in my fingers already and I have no problem moving them through all of the exercises in my recovery instructions. The elbow surgery was a little more complicated than the wrist but I am only taking Aleve for pain at this point. I only took a half of one of my prescription pain meds when I first got home and then the Aleve from then on.

Sleeping in the recliner with my arm propped up on two pillows to keep it above my heart works well. My friend Ron says I could have it positioned at any height and it would be above my heart because if I have one, nobody has ever found it....

The Nurse that wrapped it wouldn't win any prizes in the most beautiful bandage contest...

Thanks again,
LockDoc

Thumbs up Re: Taking a break

Keep those excises going and it will be fine. My first one the Dr forgot to tell me to start exercising it that day. It took forever to get my left hand working again. The second one I started squeezing the ball that day with in a few days it felt good.

Good luck with it.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Thanks everyone. I plan on following the exercise routine plus a little extra. (Working on the Dana 60) All I have left on it is the new brakes, and I will have some help to get the springs on it so that shouldn't be too bad.....

I will check out the C10 get together on FB. Thanks Chip.

My surgeon knows me. He said he expects my bandage will be pretty dirty when I come back for my checkup on the 3rd. When I had the right hand done the wrapping was pretty grungy when I went in for my followup...

Thanks,

Thanks. I had to plow snow again yesterday, That's twice. Sounds like I am going to have to do it again Saturday. The plow truck is pretty easy to operate with a bum arm though. The shovel, not so much....

Hopefully I will get the half cast off in another week.
