Z62 Interior Code

What 'exactly' does it mean?

On the identification sheet it reads: CUST COMF & CONV EQ
In the Red Book it reads: Custom Comfort and appearance option.

What all is included in the package? What are you getting with this option?

Kurt, what year truck are you refering to. I'm at work until 8:30 A.M., then I'll be able to look it up. Off the top of my head I'm gonna say it's the Highlander package, but my head is pretty fuzzy from trying to get 6 grown men that act like children to work an 8 hour shift.

GM resto pack. Gives detail of every option. I think Andy (longhornman) has a 70 packet. Look in FAQ section, and on the first page is where Andy gives the 1-800 # for the free packets from GM. It took them about a month to get me mine.

In 1972, code Z62 is actually a model option.

Custom Deluxe: Not available when Cheyenne, Cheyenne Super or bucket seats are ordered. Package includes: bright metal rear window moulding; vent window and windshield mouldings. cigar lighter, bright control knob trim and dome light bezel. Fender nameplates; full foam seat with cloth trim; door trim panels; color keyed floor mat; door operated dome lamp switches and special insulation.

Kurt, in 1972, the Highlander package was only available when Custom Deluxe was ordered, however the Highlander was only available in 1972. I'm not sure if this is helpfull, since you have a 1970, but it has to be close.

Does anyone know what the "special insulation" included / referred to? Thanks.
