If you have an auto tranny, it may *just* be a cracked flexplate. I thought I threw a rod when mine cracked!

Do you have good oil pressure? If so then it may very well be your flexplate.

sorry all

did not realize i was breaking rules... not trying to start trouble or anything just trying to get some help... a simple saying a hey your not allowed to do that would have been enough for me... sorry josh.. just got a little hot from bad enough day without certain people saying i was ignorant or wasting space.

You know they have a car show and parts flea market and car sales every month at the fair grounds near Bushnell. I don't think they have one in July and August, too hot. Maybe sell it there.

Went from Waco to San Antone a few years back; a nice 300+ mile trip one way. The Fox ran great. Next day, knocking from hell. Limped home and had 4 burned or cracked pistons. It took a new rebuild on the motor to fix that one...
