Well I didn't get a chance to get it all back together last night to get some final pics of it. I'll do that Friday morning. I think the aluminum will look good on it. I was worried about it being to bright/shiny. After painting it though I think it will look ok. We'll see when I get it put together.

Does your truck have power locks and windows?

Yes sir it does. Passenger window motor I think is going out, but the driver's side seems to have been replaced.

It turned out really nice. I'm glad I stole your idea Menace and went with the black tank and the silver straps.

that turned out real nice john. its going to have a nice contrast w/ the aluminum sending unit... not that we'll be able to see it when its installed... but we'll know!

Yeah that's the funny thing about the underside of the truck. Like yours we put so much time and effort into the frame, and painting it, and keeping an attention to detail just to cover it up. I think it was Joe that said somewhere that his wife asked him why he was worried about the exhaust pipe and muffler placement. He just said it may not make a difference to you, but to guys like me we look under the trucks just as much as we look at the exterior. It's really a funny thing about us car/truck guys. We are just as happy laying on the ground looking at someones "gas tank" as we are talking about someone's paint job on same truck. It's a sickness that I would never look for a cure for!!!

Thanks for the idea Menace. I hope it turned out like you were thinking it would, and again sorry for stealing your idea!
