Sorry my hip went out again, pretty hard to get around...but alittle progress! Headlights, high/low beams, running lights, turnsignals, side markers, w/s wipers, horn all work. Left the key on acces. first night and sucked the battery down

Wagner Halogen Headlights, really white light, 25 bucks a pop. The new relays really put the power to the lights, keeping it off of the 40 year old switch

Thanks Tynee for the voltage regulator, good people on this board

New relays for the electric fan and the electric water pump

working on the electric fan install...had to modify the alum. rad. mounts again, this time it was because the harness got thicker with the relays on the passenger side...hindsight, mount all the relays on the drivers side

Ended up cutting the mount horizontal, then making two cuts vertical with the cutoff wheel, then tapped the end back to close up the joint

Don't do it, we use salt on the roads in the winter...lots of salt.

Jim, I've used those relays for the headlights before too, it's an excellent mod for sure.

Nice report, didn't know you were injured, sorry to hear it, thanks for jambing around on the walker to get the pics tough.

Glad to see it put to use. It definitely looks better mounted to your firewall that it did laying in the floor of my shed.

Sorry to hear you weren't feeling good. The Jimmy's really starting to look like a truck now...

Re: PO has me PO'd

Looking at that pic of the relays reminds me I want to add side markers to my Blazer. Can you look at your harness and see which wire the side marker lamp taps off of? I don't know tho, its looking a lot like a nearly complete truck to me! Keep up the good work, Thanks, Jeff.

side markers are brown and black, tied into turn signals which are brown and blue...markers flash with turn signals, Thanks for lookin', when you gettin' home?

Thanks for the part, just another piece to the puzzle done. Once you drill out all the rivets, you end up with a base and cover. Hope things start to brighten up for you

That only gives me 4 months to finish it and, well...you know how slow I work

Nicely done on your signature, very respectful! Honestly, I don't know how I would handle it after 37 years. Anytime ya want to talk, ya got my numbers
