My 1970 2wd Blazer 12 year project almost done

I thought I would throw some pictures up of my 1970 2wd blazer that I have been working on for the last 12 years. Still got a ways to go but she drives. Just waiting for the DMV to open up so I can take it off NON OP and drive it LEGALLY.

They work good with a little tweaking. Was nice that I live close to them and was able to order with no holes for door handle and window crank for a cleaner look. I Used velcro to give them a little better support.

I have the bumpers on the way and SLOSH mild tubs at the paint shop as well as tmi bed caps. Here is a couple pics after taking her out for a shake down today. I need to get the ass down another couple inches. Is anyone running the CPP rear coil over system and if so how low can you go?

Re: My 1970 2wd Blazer 12 year project almost done

I'm on a build real similar, and your's looks great brother....
What size tire's and wheels are you running?
I cut the tops off of 6 junk door's and built my bed sides up to match the height of the door's on the blazer, I also welded my tailgate shut too.

Re: My 1970 2wd Blazer 12 year project almost done

Sorry guys I was out of town but thanks for the feedback. The color is Nardo Gray
and the stereo I am planning on running a hidden Bluetooth amp that will stream music from my phone with no head unit. The A/C is controlled by how far you stick your head up over the seat Lol. Rear tires are Toyo 295/40/20 and toyo 255/45/20 in the front. What are you wanting a picture of exactly in the engine bay? And yes it is the original frame.

Some pics of the windshield frame a couple of you ask me about. We took a truck roof and cut and smoothed it all. Got the seat belts installed today and think I’m going with the blue lights on the cluster.

What's yr plans on vent window's? Are you running them? I see you cut the tops of the door area where the VW go in. It looks great how you smoothed everything up.
