The '67's would use the "A" blanks and '68's would use the "C" blanks.

'67's originally came with the octagon head keys but this style "A" are the ones normally available now.

Hello Leon. Quick question. Are the keys for the door and ignition the same on a 72 or does one work in the ignition and one in the door? Are the door keys round and the ignition keys square. OK I know, that' 2 questions. Thanks, Jeff

Re: Original GM key blanks

A1,

So what is the actual difference between the codes? Is it the location of the groove in the blank? Just curious, I know they’re different, always wondered exactly how.
