swapping 6 cyl. rad to 350 rad ?

My old rad is a 6 cyl. rad and has kept it cool for all these yrs. but was wondering if I should go to the v-8 rad. The new v-8 rad is around 28 inchs wide x 17 in. tall where as the 6 cyl. rad is 26 x 17 .I see the bottom rad pad can be moved over but what about the top rad support. Does it work or do I have to find one . Some pics on a v-8 setup would be nice as it,s still early out and no trucks running around yet

I don't see any issue as long as the holes are threaded where the bracket goes, but it should have the insert spot welded there. I would be careful with the proximity of the fan blade with the thicker core
