Yeah my inner and outer grill are the reproductions. I think it went in pretty good. I also have repro front inner and outer fenders. So far so good....I am holding my breath till the hood goes on and I can see how the body panels line up! Whew!

Genuine GM

I think the grill is genuine GM NOS...all the other parts are repro. Sure looks good. Hope it all goes together without too many glitches. I know you didn't get to pre-fit and adjust the parts before they were painted. Hope there are no big surprises.

Get that Blazer appraised and well insured, cause you sure have but a lot of time and effort into it. Your pics are great motivators!

Yukon Jack- You are right on the appraisal and the insurance. Right now we only have liability,(just in case during a test drive something happens) but once we get it on the road we will get it appraised and well covered. Thanks to everyone for all the nice compliments...helps to keep me motivated!

grendel-
Got the grill from Frank's (Pickmup) he is local here in Olympia 360-956-7170 I think. If not you can email him at Frankham@comcast.net. He is a great guy to deal with. The inner is a repro and the outer is a GM "repro" you can get new outers without the Chevrolet stamped in them for pretty cheap, but you have to buy GM reproduction parts to get the Chevrolet stamped in. (Worth the extra I think)
Got the core support off of a parts blazer we sold. Patched the rusty spots with new metal, POR-15 the bad parts, and then painted the whole core support satin black.
Hoping for some progress this weekend....
Diane
