I have a door lock question

Leon (lockdoc), I'm putting my new door locks on and thought I might have a key made for the old locks. I took them out and the only thing I see on them is a number, I thought it was a letter. Is this an aftermarket lock?

The code number would be stamped into the lock case and would look something like this. Not all of the door lock cylinders have them. Most of the ignition lock cylinders do though. The letter can be anywhere in the sequence.
