Re: Is the bidding on this for real?

perhaps someone ticked off his old lady and she put it up there cheap and he or a friend are trying to over bid to keep it from being sold? i mean cmon. $7500 buy it now for that car??? something is not right on that.

if you look at the "revisions" for this item here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4632040776

i think theres some kind of scam going on. the item was a 2000 eclipse. suddenly today it turned into a 1969 camaro? i woudl bet someones account got hacked into and theres some scammer changing everything. especially with the email address change... im gonna email the account at ebay and report this ASAP

Re: Is the bidding on this for real?

If the ad is real, the 7,500 was a typo.

Great Camaro, but half a mil? LOCO

Re: Is the bidding on this for real?

no mistake here... the account selling it got hacked. it was a 2000 eclipse. someone hacked the password and changed the item into what you see now. then they paste everywhere that you must contact them at another email address than through ebay. thats why the sudden jump in bid amounts. when someone contacts the scammer they probably reply that they will only accecpt payment through western union or another way which is not secure/traceable at all.

Re: Is the bidding on this for real?

yeah but the bid jump was way to much... and then people still bid on it ?? if anyone cares it was a 67-69 camaro, all tricked out 502 yadda yadda... buy it now way $7500 and bidding started at $2000.. and the bid first went up normal till like $40,000 then a bid of $400,XXX and it went up to the $500,000's lol

Re: Is the bidding on this for real?

i think the scammer probably had another hacked account that he used to up the bid. either that or you know how some people go really crazy about camaros. and this was a very nice one!

the pics are uploading i'll post links in a second

Re: Is the bidding on this for real?

ok. for those that missed it here ya go.

the first link is a screen capture of the revision history. there you can see where it was changed from an eclipse to a 69 camaro. after that is the entire listing in several screen shots. enjoy!
