1989 burb TRANS SWAP

alright gents,
I am soon to be embarking on the great challenge of swapping out my old 700R4, for a 4L80E. So I have few questions for yall regarding the best options for me, parts wise.

1. should I buy a used trans or purchase a jakes performance stage 2 4L80E.
If I buy a jakes performance trans ill be getting reliability, but at the added cost. I am leaning towards this trans as it seems it may save me alot of headache.

2. Is the NP205 the best transfer case option for me?
I have seen them on cragislist completely refurbished with 4l80e conversion kit. Its cost 1400$ which seems exspensive to me.

3. whats the best high stall torque converter.
Ive been looking at TCI streetfighters, but Ive also heard TCI is not a reliable brand.

thats all I got for now, thanks for reading/responding!
