Hi from Germany

So I was reading alot of stuff on here the past 2-3 years.. finally I´m a member of this beautiful site!
I´d want to share a few informations about me and why I´m on here.
My Name is Mario, 23 years and from South Germany right between Stuttgart and the Lake of Constance.
I started with a 94 Caprice Cop Car as my first car at age 16 (still have it) followed by more cop cars and a Toyota Hilux Pickup. After that Hilux I switched back to Chevy and bought a 2010 2500HD Gasser and a year later (this year) a 2003 Duramax.
Between the Gasser and the Duramax my Girl decided she wants a classic truck to stand beside her EMS Tahoe. We took some time to shop around and found a ´85 C10 2WD in White. 305/350 Combination and Rhinoliner in the bed. Few Things were new, few needed touch up but mostly it was in a good driveable condition. We bought it, drove it home and enjoyed one nice Season with it.
After this Season we noticed minor leaks, a few other Things we did not like after some time and for our mountain roads it was a Little underpowered.
We agreed on a frame-off Restauration during the next year.. My Girls plans are:
- 350 with around 300-350hp
-TH350
-3.73 gears
-5"/5" drop for a Little rake
- some Kind of nascar styled wheels/tires
- White repaint
- Poly Bushings everywhere
- Frame Paint (its rust free)
- Rollpan
- Billet steering Wheel
- billet accesoires here and there
- Nascar styled rear wing
- Steering parts overhauled
- Interior changed to black leather with red Accents
- RetroRadio
- Keep factory A/C
- Sound System
....

I´m looking Forward to share our Little Project here and please forgive my bad english skills.. still learning, especially technical Terms.

Greetings from South Germany!

Happy hunting and welcome🙏

Re: Hi from Germany

Just commented on your Introduction,

as stated there we should meet up! Its about 45min-1h from my place to yours!

I was in Ebenweiler back in 2015. Great Meet with cool cars and alot of fun people.. then I started studying and the college schedule wouldn‘t let me go there unfortunatley... but still a few other meets in the area which I visit on a regular basis like the Stuttgart Night Cruise or the anual meet in Dürenmettstetten
