Re: Dapper Lighting- Would you run halos?

Anything that would throw more light has my interest.. but do you have anything for us 4 lighters?? (GMC). I prob would not upgrade my driving lights without up grading my brights as well.. also anything that resembles stock would probably be most desirable to 67-72 truck owners

HID can be done properly without projector headlights, there are a few OEM applications, and aftermarket versions such as the Sylvania X2020, but those are few and far between. If someone would develop a proper, stock looking, reflector housing (glass please) to utilize the D2R or D1R HID bulbs (the R stands for reflector housing) they would sell like hotcakes to those who want a real upgrade without a style mismatch. A few OEM reflector HID applications include Prius, some older Acuras, Volvos, Lincolns, etc. Those housings, while looking identical to the Halogen version, were not the same optically.

It seems i'm one of the few open to a more modern look, but I must say that I am mostly interested in performance as well. Do you have any specs or comparisons between stock lighting, HID upgrade, and your lights?

A complete setup with the necessary components (relays, etc) would definitely motivate me to upgrade from my stock lights.

Re: Dapper Lighting- Would you run halos?

I have a set of the black ones on my truck. I rarely run them with the brights on since the light output is so high I feel as if I don't need it. Compared to stock, these things will win anyday, but you have to decide if this look is for you. My setup is a little different since my headlights are not directly visible.
We all have different tastes however so if you don't like my setup then keep it to yourself please

What was that grille supposed to go on? Personally I think it looks mean as hell.

This is a Phantom grille which I got from:
http://sokyclassics.com/product.php?skcid=1001499
Came with hardware to mount but requires extensive modifications to fit.
Thanks for the like!

Re: Dapper Lighting- Would you run halos?

You have my interest as well. I like the idea of as much light as possible. I live way out in the sticks as animal strikes are VERY common. The small animals are usually little more than just a bummer to run over. The deer and pigs cause big damage.
I don't really care for the projectors but like the integrated halos. However, I am a long ways away from needing headlights.

I'd need a set that dipped the opposite way as UK lights have to point down and to the left on low beam!

We have a HUGE shipment coming early June and will be receiving our next batch of 4-headlight kits at that time. We'd be happy to help put a personalized kit together for you.

Photos attached of some various kits. They come with everything needed to safely install these kits.

$73 for a pair. They would be using H4 bulbs. I would recommend one of our 2 headlamp relay kits as well to boost the output if you're running stock wiring.

That's sounds great please send me a PM when your have your kits. I would love to get the relay kit as well if they are not already included, I can't see having better lights with the proper juice to push them

For those of you concerned with the complexity of the install, check out this video to see how simple it is (HID Version): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAN-RNRYsBg

Don't have those in a 4 headlamp setup. Will have some in a chrome. Black won't be available for another 8-10 months.
