Would it work on a 4WD?

Kinda crossing over a bit here...

I wanted to look into bagging a 4WD so I could lower it to get in then raise it to clear the tires. Is this feasible? I only ask because a T-11 paralysis condition has caused quite a change in my life and I'd still like to keep my truck.

Any ideas?

Re: Would it work on a 4WD?

You would have to put a custom 4 link suspension under it to allow the springs to be replaced by a set of bags. It may take a good chassis shop to pull it off but I think it would be cool if you could keep your truck.

Re: Would it work on a 4WD?

Thanks Jimmy,

I'll have to research 4-link suspensions. Those always seemed so complicated I tried to avoid thinking about them but I guess I need to start learning about them. I have a friend at Kat Kustoms who does "crazy" lifts on show trucks who can probably explain it to me.
I'll do just about anything to keep the old bucket...
