Template or dimensions for 73-75 Blazer Doors??

Is there such a thing as a diagram or dimensions for properly cutting the doors like originally done on the full-top 73-75 Blazers?

I had seen that someone mentioned this but I can't find any thing to back that up.

Also I had heard that the brackets at the bottom rear of the window frame were made into the doors on the earlier models as well, even if it was a Truck door. Does anyone know anything about this?

Re: Template or dimensions for 73-75 Blazer Doors??

The GM replacement for a Blazer door was a truck door, an insert for the rear of the door, and a template of where to cut. On my 77, I used the old doors as a template of where to cut, tepad it off, and cut them using a pneumatic hacksaw. I am sure a sawzall with a metal bit would work just as well. My truck was already cut when I bought it. They used the plastic door cap as a template in the rear, and used a long screw to hold it down to the rear track of the window (the one that bolts to the back of the door shell). I have tried to save the inserts from an original '75 door on another project, and ended up destroying teh door and insert. It isn't really necessary, if you can weld in a strap or something similar. Hope this helps some.

As far as the little brackets go I just want everything to look as close to original as possible.
