Hydroboost with Rack and Pinion

I've read through numerous threads on here and read dozens of articles, but can't seem to find specifics on a hydroboost working with a rack and pinion system. I've contacted CaptainFab but he said he only makes the adapter plate, doesn't know much about the HBs and how they work.

Here is my setup. LS3 with Holley TC pump for LS engines. No Limit Eng rack and pinion. I can get a hydroboost remanufactured pump from Rock Auto for just about any year it was offered in a GM truck or Astro van.

My questions are:
1. If someone has successfully used HB with a TC pump and rack, can you send me details and lessons learned?
2. Is there a particular year or part number for an HB that works better than others?

Re: Hydroboost with Rack and Pinion

I just converted to HB brakes, but I have the stock steer gear. There is a lot of good info on pumps, pressure and flow here:

If you get the pressure and flow specs from No Limit you might be able to determine if the TC pump will cut it.
