A few Questions

I may be trading my crusty old 64 c10 street truck for a 85 swb c10 with a 5.3 swap. My 64 c10 is ratty but built. It's an honest sub 10 second street driven pump gas truck. The one I'd be trading for is a cammed 5.3.with a 700r. There is no doubt the 85 is miles and miles cleaner then my old truck but I'm not sure of the value. So question one is what is a realistic value for a pretty clean 85 SWB with a 5.3 swap?

The 85 has rallie's on it. Not really a fan. If I trade I'll be putting American racing SaltFlats on it. So my next question is wheel and tire size. I'm looking at 18x8 fronts and 20x? Rear. I want the most width I can fit in the rear on a slightly lowered truck. What width wheel and offset and what width tire have yall fit on a stock width rear end?

I'll try and up load.pics.of both trucks.

Re: A few Questions

Color of the 85 is spot on. Very nice on both trucks though.

Re: A few Questions

Man I have seen square bodies go for $15k+ around here with an LS swap. Especially if the swap is done right and clean. Add for AC and great paint (you have)

Re: A few Questions

Hard to put a number on it, but the LS conversion if not done right would make it worth less to me than an OE 350. Drive the heck out of the truck before making an offer.

As for the price, probably 50%-75% of what the owner has invested in it!
