73 Jimmy Finally Home

Originally purchased July of 73. Sold to previous owner in 74. Daily driver till 1993. Parked in the corner of a heated/ air conditioned garage until Saturday when she finally saw the light of day for the first time in 22 years. Haven't owned a 2nd gen in 30 years. couldn't pass this one up.

Part of the negotiation. Had him throw in the box of 8tracks that was sitting in the back of the truck before I closed the deal. LOL

Thought I had a deal on these but I guess I misunderstood. looking for Drivers side rocker/Torsion box for this truck. Would take a passenger side also if available.

Re: 73 Jimmy Finally Home

Missing. Gone. Nothing there on drivers side. Passenger side is in tacked with small rust spot size of a dime on it. only real rust on truck.
so really looking for driver side. But would take both. I was hoping that when I got the ones from Arizona I could maybe have LMC or Classis etc. repro them. Was told the reason there not reproducing them is because they were not able to get there hands on good originals.

Re: 73 Jimmy Finally Home

Did you post a want to buy thread in the classified section? If not, you need to. There's a couple of vendors here that specialize in squarebody parts. But those are kind of rare, I think I've seen a pair come up for sale twice in my time here. It would be nice if they were reproduced, lots of guys like to convert the half-cabs to full-verts. Anyway. Look for 1774btcrew in classifieds, shoot him a PM. He may have one or at least can look for you.

No. That's a cab support. This is the rocker/torsion box.
Borrowed these pics from russgt build thread.
