Search help

Sometimes I think Im great at web searching, other times I just suck, this is suck time.

I have what I thought sitting in the corner of my shop for the last 15 + years was a Cadillac 500 engine. I bought it from a board member and remember going down to Brads house in Portland to pick it up (at least that's what's in my pea brain). I cant remember if I met the guy at Brads, or Brad let him drop it off there. In the long run though I suppose its neither here nor there.

Its not going in my panel any more (350/350 instead) so I figured I would drag it out and try and figure out what I want to do with it. I had TCI build me a turbo 400 way back then and its still mostly in the boxes. Had them build it Chevy style vs Caddy long tailshaft style.

Went to the Caddy 500 website and I find out its not a 500, but a 425. Not the end of the world, still a little bummed though.

Im trying to find out the outside dimensions of this darn engine. I found every other engine under the sun, just can find the overall dimensions of the darn thing. That whole family is the same ... 500 to 425 and a couple others.

Anyone out there find the dimensions for me?

That’s a great chart. Thanks for finding it!
