Which 6.5 componet set?

Currently I have a old set of kicker RS 6.5's. I've had them at least 8yrs and they are finally going out on me. I'd love to get another set of kickers as these served me awsome and kicker has earned my loyalty but the prices these days are insane. $500 for the QS series? No way. So what are some other good options? I have a kicker 350.4 powering the front component and rear plates thats about 90w RMS.

Walk into a stereo shop and listen to the cheapest set of components they have. Work your way up till you find a set you are willing to buy. That is what it comes down to. I like "x" speaker and that's what I want to take home.

Check Focal Performance on Crutchfield.com. Nuff said.

Support LOCAL, and fine a local shop to deal with not online.

Go in, listen to the speakers, experience the speakers.

I would recommend the Focal 165KRXS speakers, that's what is going in my C10, amazing sound but also a nice slim speaker that can fit almost anywhere, including custom kick panels and keep it nice and slim. I have the non slim versions the 165KRX2's in my daily driver and I just love them.
