I bought these a couple of weeks ago off the net. I have 4 more of the green one nomore of the red one, if anybody wants one. What I payed + shipping.
Sorry if this isn't correct but just thought some of you maybe interested in them. They are getting harder to find everyday. I took these out of there box the ones I have left are still in packaging.

i know it's an old post, but Andy, WHAT is that burgandy job with the surf boards?, i have never seen anything like that.....

The Custom Fleetside was one of the first 16 Hot Wheels. There were different versions with or w/o surfboards (Surfsider?) and one that launched a jet/rocket thing called the Sky Show. There was also one with a boat that fit in the bed. I forget that name too.

huh, wow. got tons of HWs, but not a surfsider. looks like an elky with a custom 67-72 front end. we just DONT get the selection up here you guys do...

Tim is correct I have several of them I did some custom touches to them since they where in such bad shape.

The green one I took a part and [painted but it's as it came in the store. The red one had been played with a lot and the bed cover was gone so I made one and added the boards.

I was thinking about hitting you up for a new '69, but got lucky the other day at a "foreign" Walmart. The blue '67 is next to find. I want that red LUV, too. I really like these first issues. The stripes even remind me of the factory graphics. I'd like it better w/o the injector stacks through the hood, but it is a Hot Wheels.
