Re: Pictures of your toy collection

I have a couple of toys stashed away. If I ever get my garage the way I want it Ill figure out some way to display them out there.

One thing I do have a ton of is 1957 Chevy car stuff. 57 Chev was my first car and Ive had quite a few of them over the years. Well my mom was obsessed with them (for me) so every gift giving time for over 20 years she got me 57 Chev stuff. I have cookie jars, remote control cars, radios, knifes, xmas ornaments, crystal, Jim Beam decanter (still full), hot wheels...you get the picture...lol...Thanks Mom...rest your soul, we miss you =)

Re: Pictures of your toy collection

Then there are the unbuilt models that I have been saving for my retirement. I think I will have to live until I'm 300 just to finish them all.
I have over 50 boxes with 15 models to a box and a couple of closets full also. Then there are the open hot wheels.

Re: Pictures of your toy collection

Yeah I dont blame you. I wouldnt get rid of any of mine either. I dont have as many of the truck kits that you have and I dont think I will be getting them any time soon. Kinda hard to find and when you do they are usually sky high on ebay. Think Ill just stick to making molds for all of them so I will be able to make every year out of resin.

Re: Pictures of your toy collection

Or,sell enough resin to buy originals to hold onto.Gotta love box art.I won`t build any of these.I have the late kits to buid.I have a few of the later `72 GMC Fendersides to build. Those are the oldest I`ll build.I bought a junkyard of three trucks and my favorite kit to build is the Rides Magazine `72 with the dopey wheels.I bought a bunch of those.

Since those pictures were taken I have added another row of 4 cases of diecast trucks. No wonder that I don't have enough money to finish my old cars.

Re: Pictures of your toy collection

Nice batch of GM iron,er,I mean plastic.I`m kinda bummin`on selling off my collection at Carlisle.I let the whole bunch go to a dealer.i don`t know if it`s the rare unbuilts or the ones I built that`s bugging me the most.I lost alot of great donor parts to go into my GM truck builds.I only took this picture of a partial-built when CG had a thread about a real Ford he bought:
