Re: Camaro Caliper Brackets

I do not yet make any rear disc brackets for the '88-'98 trucks. I keep hoping to find the time to work on those, but with working 70-80 hrs a week every week, time is scarce. Does your truck have the 8.5" 10 bolt or the 9.5" 14 bolt?

Re: Camaro Caliper Brackets

What rotors can I use with these brackets and calipers to swap my truck to 4.75 bolt pattern?

I've seen Chevy Astro van rotors mentioned, but the obvious Camaro rotors that match the calipers would be nice to use.

Re: Camaro Caliper Brackets

The only rotor that can be used with these brackets without modification are the ones they are designed for.

The '93-'97 F-body rotors have a 5 x 4.65" wheel stud pattern, are smaller in diameter and a different height.

I have started on a different set of brackets for the trucks using the 5 x 4.75" wheel stud pattern, but I don't know when I will have time to finish them up.

Gotcha. I guess I'll just have to buy a pair of Impala rotors and re-drill the 4.75 pattern in between the 5" pattern.

The time has finally come and I check back to make sure everything is good and see this. So I re-read the thread and found you already said they won't work many pages ago. Dangit!! I have the 10 bolt. When I read 10 and 12 bolts I just assumed my 98's 10 bolt was the same.

Re: Camaro Caliper Brackets

Sorry but I still don't have anything for the '88-'98 10 bolts, I'm still working 80 hrs a week every week. There are actually 2 versions of the 8.5" 10 bolts in the '88-'98 trucks which have different backing plate flanges both of which are different from the '87 and earlier 10 bolts. I assume one is a standard duty and the other is a heavy duty. Additionally the '88-'98's have a wider brake offset. I am still hoping to get to these one day.
