Look at my other post. It says it all. It is the widest legal one that they sell and will fit any Chevy 4x4. This is the second one Ive owned. The first, I sold to a board member. i was in partnership with my brother. need I say more. I bought this one in November of 2001. It is regestered in Calif for 10 YEARS! I have a 24' 5th wheel that I think Ill be using in the future that I keep at my ranch in Chico. The wife wants alot of my "toys" out of the driveway. Gotta sell.

LOL thats funny, any stock Chevy I assume you meant.
If the deck hight and width are what I need you maybe trailer less in a matter of hours.

The fenders are fixed then I assume. I was looking for something a bit lower however......

It has 4 wheel electric brakes? Tie downs? Whats this about 10 years of licence in Ca.?
What are you doing tomorrow........................?

Brakes on one axel.(2 wheels) you can add then rather easy to the other ones but I doubt that you need them on a 7000 gvw trailer. The fenders are fixed. anything any lower than 24" and you will have clearance problems. My boat was 18'' at its lowest spot and I sometimes would hit things on the road at the ranch. You may find a lower trailer custom made but bring$$$$$$. I feel that I have this trailer priced right. At $1499, Im taking a real bath. Yes, Calif has a 10 year registration on all their trailers now. I have yet to see any car or truck that wouldnt fit between the wheel wells of these trailers. I should be home most of the day tomorrow.

The trailers I was looking at had a hight of about 20" so yours at 24" isn't a huge deal. My truck the way it sits now is right at 84" wide on the front axle with the street tires on it. With the mods I plan on doing it will be around 86-7" wide. I would have added width to the deck in front of the wheel wells reguardless but the fenders are the biggest issue to overcome. Yours at 83.5 is way ahead of the game, most I looked at were 82".

I have some money set aside for this endevor, however I was going to make payments on a newer one. I was not planning on a huge drive either, How far are you from Portland?

Not sure how far from Portland. ive never been farther than Eugene. Im sure that you could have the fenders modified to work with your truck. The only problem is that there is a thing called the "legal limit" in width. This is the widest trailer you can put on the highway leagally. After your set the truck on it, you will be at your 20" is my guess. Like I said in the PM, the price is right. For 2x as much or more, you could get a custom one made but you woulod be driving much higher than the wheels to get the width you need. My choice would be to have a welding shop modify for a few bucks and take the short drive over the fenders. Just an idea... Talk to you in the A.M.

I think we are on the same page, however I would have trouble paying to have it modified, I think I will do the mods. myself.
But as I said I think we are on the same page.
I will be in touch.
