I don't think it's a posi unit. If it were, $50 would be a hell of a deal. As far as putting it in, have it done. There are a lot of things that have to be right. If not, you're going to break something. You need the correct tools and knowledge to get it right. It should only be about $200 to have your rear end set up at a shop.

This is not a posi unit. As for installing a posi unit you need to go to a shop and have it done. That is what I would do even though I have changed them out myself. It is too easy to screw up and ruin everything.
