th350 not shifting

ok guys me and my dad just rebuilt my tranny due to a blown sprag. it has a manual valve body no automatic features whatsoever first gear and reverse work just fine but when is try to shift from first to second its like 2nd gear isnt applying same thing when i go to 3rd it seems as though its stuck in first. i just pulled the valve body off to make sure none of the valves were sticking and they all seem to be moving freely. someone help pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Its been a while.....but when you convert to manual valve body they give you a special plug to replace vacuum modulator.

Next would be the Governor might not be installed correctly or faulty

What ever you do, let me know. I rebuilt my TH350 last summer and it isn't shifting into 3rd. I does shift from 1st to 2nd but then it won't shift up to third. I have almost given up on it and I'm just about to take it into a shop.
