Wink 72 GMC Jimmy 2wd

Hello...I'm a Hot Rod Gal with a 1972 GMC Jimmy 2wd convertible, with an awesome boyfriend that helped me put a 350 & 4 speed automatic in it. It has a/c, roll pans, centerlines w/Toyo tires, and both hard and rag tops.

Welcome! Nice ride, but for some odd reason I think I've seen your blazer before. Were you ever part of blazer-net?

Shes way too modest guys. She puts alot of time and effort into that Jimmy.
Some of the Mods and such are....
330 HP 350.
200 M 4spd auto.
3" dropsprings front (this weekend)
4" dropsprings rear (this weekend)
Painless wiring harness
All new rubber.
15"x50's all the way around Toyos.
Nice stereo
bucket seats , console, rear seat all replaced.
No wheel No steal anti theft device, She can shoot good too trust me.
Smoothed the sides down, no moldings.
New glass.
Not a dent nor ding in her ride.

How are you??? I remember you well!! I am glad to see your Jimmy still looks as great as it did when you were purchasing parts from me. We have it posted in our Client's pics section of our website. Here is the link: http://www.classicheartbeat.com/pic_15.htm
Did you get it completed? We can get you a new set of front fender eyebrows now. They are being reproduced where they weren't when you ordered from me last. Sure looks great!! WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Welcome to The board from Ohio.
That thing looks awsome, and it has the best looking grill too.
One question...does the inspectors there ever give you any crap about the front roll pan? I know in the fort hood area they would not give you a sticker if you went in like that. (onless you have a connection that is)
I'll asume that Brother Bob is the boy friend who helped you...welcome to the board Brother Bob.

Hi Wes. We are still working on little things on my Jimmy. Replacing the front and rear springs this weekend then it goes to the shop to have the front end aligned.
Longhorn, I've never had any problems getting her inspected. I have friends in the business. They just started the emissions testing in my county though. I've heard different stories about how they treat older year models. Someone told me they would give it the test just to see how it ranked. Which would mean a $39 inspection instead of $12.
Yes, brother bob is my boyfriend. He has a major hot rod fetish so helping me with my Jimmy is never a problem for him.
Thanks for the welcome and complements on my Jimmy.
