The widths of the boards is OK, It's the slots for the strips that's wrong. The sketch he has says a total of 3/4 inch from the edge of the board for the D (1/20 + C (1/4) strip. Heck, the strips are 1-1/2 inch in width. It dosen't math out. The screws have to go in between the boards, don't they?

OK..........i just went out and measured my old boards that I had got from Chevy Duty. They have been laying out in the weather for 2 years. They fit great when they were in the truck. They measured out to 7 5/8, 5 3/4, and 3 1/8. Pauls numbers did not match the measurements of the boards when I took them out of the truck so the last time I made boards I split the difference between what he had and the old boards. I have one strip that doesnt really fit like it should. Remember these boards have been outside on the ground for 2 years. They were treated with linseed oil so they are actually in pretty good shape yet.
