Re: New to me 72 Sub

More to come tomorrow as we try to wrap up the RideTech install so we can move on to AccuAir. This burb is a great, solid start and Kelly has great vision for it. I'm excited to help him ruin a perfectly good Suburban

I'm glad to have you help. Nothing like hacking up a solid classic ride.

No clearance to reach the top of the framerails for the shock crossmember bolts from below, so I made access holes in the floor

Re: New to me 72 Sub

Signing on here, this is a sweet ride man. I spotted those wheels a couple months ago and they are still on my radar.Wish my burb would have been in as good of condition as yours when I started on it and I love the color combo, GO VOLS!

Hacking is such a harsh word.....more like custom upgrading. In a unique environment on top of that.

Very sweet, thinking about those wheels myself. What caps do you plan on using?

Haha- yeah, that was surgical precision with a cut-off wheel! I was a little worried I might screw up your truck when I started the first cut (hope I measured right!), but the other side was no sweat The cuts for your notches I think are better than what I did on my truck...
