Nice work. I love the engine choice. Your engine bay looks really good. Keep the pictures coming.

Thanks, I should have some more updates this week when I get back home. My drive shaft is finished at the drive line shop, so that's one more check on the to do list.

Wish I would have picked up a new bumper at Southern Kentucky Classics last week.

Kieth, with your talent and definitely your patience you could do a slick paint job yourself. You're already on the right foot with all the detail with your gaps and getting everything to fit nice.

Thanks Jason, problem is I have no place to paint it. My garage is attached to my house and enters into my Kitchen. My other option is painting in a tent in my backyard, but I live on a cul-de-sac and I don't know how the neighbors will feel about the paint fumes paying a shop to do it is out of the budget so who knows what I'm going to do. I'll just keep looking at your beautiful paint and keep drooling

A kitchen full of paint fumes or ticked off neighbors wouldn't be a good idea

Nice project, especially like the 427 and the valve covers. Keep at it.

Thanks Rick, the valve covers were polished aluminum, I scuffed them up and painted them satin black then found the 427 stickers at a swap meet. I thought they turned out good, different anyway. I didn't want a lot of bling under the hood.

Re: Jason's 70 Big Block SWB Project

A few more pictures from last weekend. Hopefully this weekend I check the fit of the tailgate and disassemble the bed for paint. I was really surprised of how well the SoKy bed has fit so far.

Thanks for the compliment Rick, I showed my son the pic of your truck, he's 19 and wants an early 80's square body 4x4 to lift and put big tires on for a weekend cruiser. He liked yours with the 40's on it

Re: Jason's 70 Big Block SWB Project

Thanks for the good words on my big beast, a lot of young guy's like it and even though it is so big it actually seems kind of normal to drive, it has been very well thought out by the last owner and myself so just seems like driving a normal truck really, but then you do wonder why people are staring at times. Wish we were closer I would take him for a rip, nothing but fun, well except in my wife's eyes.
